Investing in Your Work

Pricing & Cost Structure

Pricing & Cost Structure

Every project is quoted individually, and that's intentional. Architectural photography isn't a commodity service with a price list, and the work I do for a boutique interior design firm isn't the same as a multi-day commercial build documentation for a developer. Custom quotes let me make sure the investment actually fits your project.

That said, here's what shapes every estimate I put together.

What Goes Into a Quote?

Scope of the project. The number of spaces, how complex each one is to light and compose, and how many final images you're expecting all shape the estimate.

My process, not a clock. I quote by project, not by the hour or day. That means once we agree on scope, I show up as many times as it takes to get the shot right, whether that's one visit or four. Weather doesn't cooperate, light isn't what I envisioned, something feels off in post, I come back. You're not paying for my time on site. You're paying for the final images.

Post-production. Every image I deliver goes through detailed editing — color correction, perspective correction, exposure blending, and retouching. That work takes time, and it's what separates a finished, publication-ready image from a raw file.

Licensing. Your quote includes a standard usage license that covers the ways most design professionals use imagery every day: your website, social media, award submissions, proposals, and portfolio use. This license doesn't expire. Broader commercial advertising use (billboards, national ad campaigns, etc.) is priced separately.

Travel. I'm based in Salt Lake City and regularly shoot throughout Utah and the Mountain West. Local projects don't carry a travel fee. For projects outside the region, travel expenses are added to the estimate at cost with no markup.

How to Get a Quote

The fastest way is to reach out with a brief description of your project, the space, your timeline, and what you're hoping to use the images for. I'll usually have a number back to you within one business day.
